LACEY, Washington — Saint Martin’s Capital Food & Wine Festival showcases regional wine, beer, cider and food offerings noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 25.
The event is an annual fundraiser for the college featuring more than a hundred regional wines, dozens of beers and hard ciders, local restaurant fare and three stages of live music at the university’s Marcus Pavilion and Worthington Conference Center (5300 Pacific Avenue SE).
Hundreds of volunteers and dozens of local businesses make the event, which began in 1989, possible. The proceeds benefit Saint Martin's Alumni Association's academic student scholarships.
This year also includes a live performance by Olympia's own Ethan Tucker (as seen on The Voice) and Band, as well as jazz, folk and classical musicians.
Online $15 Early Bird Tickets include admission, one wine or beer mug and $5 of scrip (needed for sampling alcoholic beverages). Tickets at the door are $20. Additional booklets of scrip are available online and on site for $10 each.
